Over the years, he has proven to be an effective councilman and has done a commendable job as chairman of the transit and technology committees. On the Technology Committee, he has protected Petaluma Community Access. He has protected seniors by supporting our mobile home rent control ordinance. He recently reaffirmed this, telling me he would not support the park owners request to vacancy decontrol. He voted to have projects such as Regency and Deer Creek come before the council for final approval instead of letting a committee approve these projects.
